Counseling Style

Robyn’s goal as a person-centered counselor is to compassionately and skillfully help people grow, evolve, live in alignment with their values, and express their most authentic selves. She aspires to be a caring and intuitive collaborator who supports clients on their paths to wholeness, vitality, meaning and satisfaction, as well as greater joy, peace, empowerment, and resilience. She aims to create an empathetic, safe, and attuned container where clients can find comfort, fortitude and healing—at their pace—as they meet life’s inevitable challenges, losses, and traumas.

Robyn is interested in working with all populations but is especially interested in somatic body-centered approaches to trauma, as well as clients navigating midlife and aging, and those dealing with stress, grief, and life transitions. She resonates most with client-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness approaches, but is open to employing a blend of approaches based on client needs. .
