At Let All Thrive, one of our highest priorities is protecting the privacy of our clients and the confidentiality of their health information. Our mental health therapists do not solicit therapy reviews, nor do we publish or otherwise share any identifying information. However, some of our clients have been so pleased with the work that our mental health therapists do that they have taken it upon themselves to request that we share their stories and therapy reviews (without identifying information, of course).

Hear From Some of the People We Have Helped

Trauma and Suicide Ideation

Our mental health therapist treated a 16-year-old girl who had suffered trauma and was experiencing suicide ideation. She worked through her trauma using the emotional freedom technique (EFT) and now, she’s feeling safe and secure enough to go back to school. She stated that she felt great rapport with her therapist.

Trauma and Anger

A client came to us for help dealing with their “anger problems.” Their mental health therapist determined that those anger issues were in actuality a trauma response. After working through play therapy techniques, this individual is now able to self-regulate their emotions, advocate for their needs, and engage in secure, healthy relationships with others.

Depression and Anxiety

A 60-year-old female came to us looking for help with her depression and anxiety. She was suffering from a variety of health issues, including daily panic attacks and tearfulness. As a result, she was on a Family Medical Leave of Absence. She was struggling to function; she could barely get out of bed and feed herself, and she couldn’t drive or go anywhere without her husband due to anxiety. Five months after working with our mental health therapist, she is working from home full-time, has reduced her medication, and is engaging once more in activities she enjoys. She even went on an overseas vacation.

Depression, Anxiety & ADHD

A male patient in his 20s suffered from depression and anxiety that was causing him to flunk out of college. He experienced panic attacks in the workplace and around the community, and had trouble getting out of bed. He was referred for an ADHD assessment, which was confirmed. Our mental health therapist treated this client with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in weekly appointments, and he is taking appropriate medication. Since starting therapy, this client has obtained a full-time job with a solid salary, and is returning to school with renewed resolve and a new major. His depression is fully resolved. He was able to switch to monthly appointments, rather than weekly, and is continuing to work on resolving his social anxiety.

Trauma

A female patient visited our mental health therapists because her marriage was falling apart. She shared that she had suffered from sexual molestation as a child—trauma that she had never before shared with anyone. After working with our mental health therapist, she feels that she has healed from her past trauma and felt confident enough to tell her family about it. This, in turn, allowed her other family members to come forward with their own, similar stories. This client is now thriving, not just surviving. Her voice has been heard and will continue to be heard, and her marriage is strong and fulfilling.
