Counseling Style

Mia is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative space for clients to feel heard and understood. She is drawn to working with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, burnout, and major life transitions.

Mia believes that therapy should be a safe and accepting environment where clients can slow down, explore what they are experiencing, and begin making sense of the patterns, pressures, and emotions that may be keeping them stuck. Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. She does not view therapy as having all the answers for clients, but rather as a process of walking alongside them with empathy, honesty, and support.

Mia uses an integrative approach rooted in person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused counseling, and strengths-based support. She values both emotional processing and practical tools, helping clients explore their past, understand their present experiences, identify patterns, and work toward realistic steps for change. Her goal is to create a compassionate and grounded space where clients feel empowered to reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth.
